Working at a regional university has helped develop an awareness of the value of strategic and programmatic research involving collaboration with, and benefits for, the local community. Areas of research expertise include qualitative and action research methodologies. Topics of research include professional identity and communities of practice, nursing education, teaching and learning scholarship, simulation learning, clinical deterioration, interprofessional education and workforce.
