Andrew Walton

I am a political philosopher at Newcastle University, where I have been researching and teaching since 2013. My work focuses on questions of social justice and how political philosophy can inform real-world public policy. Current research centres on distributive and transitional justice, particularly in relation to urban inequality, residential and community integration, housing policy, and labour markets, and how public institutions—especially schools and universities—can support plant-based diets as part of broader ethical and environmental commitments.
