Dr Rushby is the programme director for the MSc in Astrobiology at Birkbeck. He was a Nasa Postdoctoral Management Fellow (NPMP) at NASA Ames Research Center between 2016 and 2018, and a Postdoctoral Fellow in Astronomy at the University of California, Irvine, from 2018 to 2021.
