Andy Lane is Professor of Sport and Exercise Psychology at the University of Wolverhampton. His work explores how mood, emotions, confidence and self-regulation shape performance, health and wellbeing. He has published widely on endurance sport, combat sports, physical activity, behaviour change and performing under pressure. Andy is a chartered psychologist and HCPC registered practitioner psychologist, with a strong interest in turning research into practical advice for athletes, coaches, health professionals and the public.
