Andrew La Croix

(He/Him)

I am a sedimentary geologist - I am interested in how broken bits of rocks and minerals move around the Earth's surface and build layered sedimentary basins. I am especially interested in how we can use observations and measurements from the modern day to tell us what the Earth looked like in the geological past.

Recently, I have been applying my research to solve societally-relevent problems such as how we might offset climate change by storing carbon dioxide underground or lock it away in sediments.
