- Professor of Neuroscience, University of Lethbridge
I am a biologist with expertise that cuts across anatomy, ornithology, animal behaviour, evolutionary biology, and neuroscience. My PhD focused on the evolution of brain size and composition in birds, primarily focusing on parrots. Since then, I have worked with vultures, hummingbirds, waterfowl, grouse, pigeons, hawks, and falcons as well as continuing to do some research on parrots. To date, I have published over 100 scientific articles and my first book will be published in August 2025.
