Andrew Fuhrmann

Dr Andrew Fuhrmann holds a PhD and an MA from the English and Theatre Studies Department of the University of Melbourne. He is a guest lecturer in dance at the Victorian College of the Arts and co-directed the creation of the Theatre and Dance Platform, a repository of significant Australasian performing arts collections hosted by the University of Melbourne. He is the dance critic for the Age newspaper and reviews theatre and books regularly for Australian Book Review among other publications. He maintains research interests in movement studies, the afterlives of modernism and the creation, expansion and maintenance of performing arts archives in the digital realm.
