Andrew Costanzo (PhD) is a Senior Lecturer in the area of food and nutrition Sciences in the School of Exercise and Nutrition Sciences. He is also the Deputy Course Director for the undergraduate nutrition science courses.

His area of research is on fat taste as a mechanism for excess consumption of fatty foods. His research projects include the assessment of long-term low-fat and high-fat dietary intake on fat taste sensitivity; heritability of the fat taste trait; and development of novel methodology for the assessment of fat taste sensitivity.
