Ana is a Ph.D. candidate in the School of Psychology at the University of Ottawa. Her work examines how relational dynamics shape children’s early experiences. In her dissertation, Ana studies how playful parent-child interactions relate to preschoolers’ socio-emotional and cognitive development. Her broader research program bridges developmental and forensic psychology, aiming to strengthen evidence-based guidelines for interviewing, supporting, and understanding young people in both caregiving and legal contexts.
