My research activity is aimed at the study of individual and group characteristics associated with interpersonal relationships, such as social and moral competence, social status, friendship dynamics, class norms, and their relationship with the type of behaviour adopted during situations of interpersonal violence in the classroom. Between 2019 and 2023, I was hired as a FPU (University Teacher Training) at the University of Cordoba. I have been a member since 2019 of the LAECOVI research team (Laboratory of Studies on Convivencia and Prevention of Violence; www.laecovi.com) co-directed by professors Eva Romera and Rosario Ortega-Ruiz. I have been and am a member of various national and international research projects. During my PhD I have carried out three international stays (a total of 11 months) supervised by relevant professors in my area of research (René Veenstra, Christian Berger and Dorothy Espelage). One of them was carried out within the predoctoral research program funded by Fulbright Spain. I have published different research papers with international authors from various universities (University of Groningen, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and University of Kentucky). I have participated with different contributions (paper in symposia, oral communications or poster) in congresses and conferences of great international relevance. In addition, I will participate in sessions on scientific communication to the public such as the XI edition of the European Researchers' Night, teacher training organized by the CEP of Córdoba and communication of results to the international scientific community (session in the 2023-2024 Colloquium Series organized by the Alberti Center for Bullying Abuse Prevention and in the shared session entitled "ISRA New Investigators' Symposium" organized by the International Society for Research on Aggression). All this with the aim of promoting the dissemination of the results achieved in the scientific community but also horizontal communication between science and society. In 2022 I was selected as one of the 10 New Investigators of the program developed by ISRA and in 2023 as one of the 24 young researchers who participated in the EADP-EARA-SRA Summer School. I have been editor of the journal Psychology, Society & Education since January 2022, the Spain's international representative in the Early Researchers Union within the European Association of Developmental Psychology, since August 2023. Finally, I was selected as the President elect of the Early Researchers Union, on August 2025.
