Amanda Margaret Narvali

Amanda is currently working towards her Doctorate of Philosophy at the University of Guelph. Her doctoral research is focused on the "Gendered Harms of Artificial Intelligence." Her work illuminates the harms of AI-generated pornography, the risks and benefits of data-based approaches to health, and examines the promise of AI as a technology that can realize personalized medicine. Her philosophical interests include AI Ethics, Feminist Philosophy, Clinical Ethics, and Bioethics. Amanda holds an MA in Philosophy from Western University and a BA in Philosophy and Creative Writing from the University of
Guelph.
