Alyse Lennox holds a Bachelor of Psychology (Hons.) from Deakin University and specialises in evidence reviews, rapid review methodology and qualitative research across a range of topic areas to inform policy and practice. She has over thirteen years' experience in health systems research and is passionate about improving the patient experience across healthcare settings.

Alyse's recent projects have focused on increasing recreational reading rates in Australia; improving interdisciplinary communication on acute inpatient hospital wards; interventions to prevent patient harm in hospitals; interventions to improve communication of the needs and preferences of people living with dementia in acute care settings; and identity protection following data breaches. She was recently a key team member on a two-year project funded by the Transport Accident Commission aiming to develop interventions to help young men living with spinal cord injury to lead their best life. Alyse was also involved in leading rapid evidence and practice reviews on the three-year, $1.5 million Victorian Managed Insurance Authority Research and Innovation Program, leading to the development and delivery of six behaviour change trials to improve patient safety.

Alyse has experience in teaching and delivering workshops in face-to-face and online delivery modes for a range of audiences in the higher education and government sectors. This involves strategies on how to use evidence to unpack a problem, encompassing asking appropriate questions, conducting rapid reviews and critical consumption of evidence. She currently guest lectures in the Masters Unit, 'Understanding human behaviour to influence change', recognised for excellence by Monash University.
