Alix de Jersey is a PhD candidate in the Tasmanian School of Medicine at the University of Tasmania. Her research focuses on understanding the pathophysiological effects of microplastic using vulnerable wildlife as a model species. Alix is passionate about utilising biomedical techniques to understand the diversity of consequences from exposure to this pollutant in the realms of wildlife and ecological health.
