Alison Graham Larson

Alison is a 2006 graduate of the S.J. Quinney College of Law at the University of Utah, where she served a member of the Utah Law Review and earned highest academic honors. She then spent spent nine years working as a staff attorney for Judge Sergio A. Gutierrez of the Idaho Court of Appeals. During that time, she served on the Governing Council of the Appellate Practice Section of the Idaho State Bar and was active with the Idaho Volunteer Lawyers program.

In 2015, Alison returned to her alma mater, Northwest Nazarene University, and worked in compliance and administration for NNU's NCAA Div. II athletics program as a Senior Associate Athletic Director. Having served as an adjunct professor, she transitioned to a full-time role as an Associate Professor of Criminal Justice in 2025.

Her particular interests include the U.S. Supreme Court and civil rights and liberties, especially in the criminal law context, as well as how value systems, namely those informed by faith traditions, inform the work of justice professionals. Relevant to the latter, she remains active providing pro bono legal services.
