- Postdoctoral Researcher, Department of Mechanical & Industrial Engineering, University of Toronto
Alicia Battaglia is a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Mechanical & Industrial Engineering at the University of Toronto, where she develops novel materials for CO2 electrolysis. She completed her PhD in Polymer and Materials Chemistry at the University of Toronto in 2024, where she investigated fluorine-free polymer binders for metal-ion batteries. Her research bridges chemistry and engineering to improve the performance and sustainability of energy storage and conversion technologies. She is passionate about designing novel materials for a low-carbon energy future.
