- Researcher, Paleoceanography, Royal Holloway, University of London
Alice's PhD research focused on sea-surface variability in the North Atlantic and how that affected environmental conditions on land, both locally and regionally, using lake sedimentological records and marine paleoceanographic data. Her current research uses volcanic ash to link annually-laminated European lake records in the Holocene, and linking Arctic paleoceanographic records together to refine chronologies of climate change in this sensitive region, using volcanic ash.
