I am a palaeontologist specialising in dinosaurs and other Mesozoic reptiles, currently a Research Fellow at University College London and Research Adjunct at the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences. My research explores palaeobiology, macroevolution, extinction, and macroecology using phylogenetics, biogeography, statistics, and Earth System Modelling.

I focus on how climate, geography, and biological factors shape evolutionary patterns and biodiversity in deep time, and on distinguishing real biodiversity signals from fossil record biases. My PhD examined Late Cretaceous dinosaur evolution and extinction, and I have also worked on ancient crocodilians, theropod dinosaurs, and marine reptiles.
