Alexis is an early career researcher whose work spans industrial relations, labour history and work, health and safety. Much of his research centres on union strategy, including generating insights from history to inform discussion on union renewal today.
Alexis's book 'Striking Ore: The Rise and Fall of Union Power in the Pilbara' examines mining unionism in Western Australia, and is out April 2025 with Monash University Publishing. He is an Associate Editor of Labour History.
