Alexis Paton

Dr Alexis Paton is the co-director of the Centre for Health and Society, opening later this year at Aston University. She is a lecturer in Social Epidemiology and the Sociology of Health at Aston Medical School. Outside of Aston she is the Chair of the Committee on Ethical Issues in Medicine for the Royal College of Physicians, a Trustee of the Institute of Medical Ethics and a columnist for the Independent.
