Alexeis Garcia Perez

Alexeis Garcia Perez is Professor of Digital Business and Society and Director of the Aston-Capgemini Centre of Excellence for Enterprise AI, at Aston University.

Alexeis is a digital transformation and enterprise AI specialist who works with organisations in sectors such as financial services, transport and professional services to design and implement AI and cyber‑resilient operating models. He has led multi‑stakeholder programmes that address the 'last mile' of AI adoption, developing practical frameworks for trustworthy AI, governance and change that can be deployed at scale in complex organisations. His work spans strategy development, talent and capability building, and the design of data‑driven processes that improve performance while managing regulatory and cyber risk.

Over a 30‑year career, Alexeis has built a strong track record of turning research into practice, completing over a dozen industry projects and advising leadership teams on digital innovation, cyber resilience and knowledge‑based strategy. He has published widely on digital transformation, organisational cyber resilience and knowledge management, with more than 5,000 citations, and is frequently invited to speak at academic and industry conferences and sector initiatives focused on the applications of digital technology in areas such as connected mobility, lawtech and critical infrastructure.
