Alex's research focuses on analyzing tree-ring patterns from rare forests to understand environmental change in eastern Canada. He also has experience in geographic information systems analysis and creating and faciliating educational resources as coordinator of Concordia's Climate Emergency Committee. He is a 2024-2025 Concordia Public Scholar.
