Alexandra Palmer

Dr Alexandra (Ally) Palmer is a social scientist with a speciality in social and ethical issues in conservation and human-animal relationships - in zoos, wildlife rehabilitation, animal research, invasive species management, and genetic engineering. She currently works on two research projects, examining social dimensions of gene drives for wasps (Lincoln University) and how zoos manage or prevent 'surplus' animals (University of Auckland).
