Alexandra M. Lord

I'm a historian of medicine and I oversee the medical and scientific collections at the Smithsonian Institution's National Museum of American History. I'm an expert in the history of infectious diseases and I wrote a book on the history of federally-funded sex education, Condom Nation: The U.S. Government's Sex Education Campaign from World War I to the Internet (Johns Hopkins University Press).
