I am a senior associate at the O’Neill Institute for National and Global Health Law (a research and policy institute in Washington DC), and an adjunct professor of law at Georgetown University Law Center. I previously worked at the United Nations Office of the Victims’ Rights Advocate and as a lawyer in Australia advising on the regulation of therapeutic goods and acting in medical product liability class actions. I have a double degree in Arts and Law and a Master of Laws in health law, all from the University of Sydney. My work and research interests concern global health governance, law and policy. I have been published in the New York Times, BMJ, the Lancet, New England Journal of Medicine, Health Affairs, the Journal of Law, Medicine and Ethics, PLOS Global Health, and Devex, among other publications.
