Alexander Thim is an economist specializing in political economy, macroeconomics, and the economics of education. He is earning his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where he also completed his Master of Arts in Economics. His doctoral research focuses on early childhood development and public policy, culminating in his dissertation, “Three Essays on the Head Start Program.” Prior to his doctoral work, he completed his undergraduate studies in economics and Political Science at Central Connecticut State University
