Alexa Yakubovich is a CIHR Postdoctoral Health System Impact Fellow at the MAP Centre for Urban Health Solutions at the Li Ka Shing Knowledge Institute and University of Toronto. She recently completed her D.Phil (Ph.D) in the Centre for Evidence-Based Intervention at the University of Oxford as a Rhodes Scholar. Alexa's multidisciplinary research involves conducting rigorous investigations of the structural determinants of interpersonal violence and related health inequities - with a particular focus on intimate partner violence - and using this understanding to design and evaluate programs and policies meant to address these outcomes.
