I am an employment relations researcher with a strong and impactful applied research track record. As an internationally renowned expert on new technology and work, my research has significantly shaped academic and public policy debates on gig work and algorithmic management. Specialising in qualitative research, I conducted pioneering work on the nature and quality of gig work. My DECRA (2021-2025) focused on algorithmic management in the Australian gig economy. Currently, for my University of Sydney Business School Emerging Scholar Research Fellowship (2025), I am investigating the attitudes of employment relations actors towards the regulation of algorithmic management and AI.
