I am a philosopher at the University of Leeds, affiliated with the Centre for Love, Sex, and Relationships, and funded by the Society for Applied Philosophy. I have previously worked at Tilburg University (Netherlands), funded by the Leverhulme Trust. In 2024, I completed my PhD in Philosophy at the University of Cambridge.

My research looks at how we engage with and respond to digital representations like videogames, virtual reality, fake profiles in online dating, and AI-generated images.

My published articles and public-facing work are available here: https://www.alexfisher.org/
