Alessandra Baiocchi

Alessandra Baiocchi is a Ph.D., Professor at PUC-Rio, researcher, consultant, TEDx speaker, and coordinator of the MBA in Marketing Management at IAG PUC-Rio. She was recently awarded by FAPERJ in the "Programa de Apoio à Jovem Cientista Mulher com vínculo em ICTs do Estado do Rio de Janeiro – 2023" for her project: "From Creativity to Competitiveness: Exploring the Potential of Creative Industries in the Cultural Branding of Cities." Her doctoral thesis "Branding of Creative Cities" received the cRio Creative Economy Award 2022. During her Ph.D. studies, she was a recipient of the ELAP (Emerging Leaders in the Americas Program) award from Global Affairs Canada. She has participated extensively in various international conferences and panel discussions. Her research interests include the Creative Economy, Marketing for the Arts, Entertainment and Experiences, Place Branding, and Soft Power.
