Alan Wong

I am an experienced applied academic researcher, who is interested in how we can develop more people-friendly, sustainable and liveable cities, that inter-link urban and transportation planning, i.e. better connecting people and places.

I am passionate about creating impact through community engagement with research, to develop more vibrant and sustainable cities that are centred around people’s experiences and innovative ideas. In addition to urban planning and transportation engineering, I am also an experienced data scientist and information technologist, who has led the research on several UKRI, DfT, EU and local-government funded major projects.
