Aimee E. Smith

Aimee E. Smith is a Junior Research Fellow at the Gradel Institute of Charity, New College, University of Oxford. Her research focuses on ethical fundraising using a range of methods to understand what ethical fundraising looks like and whether it creates a trade-off for charities looking to raise money.

Aimee completed her PhD at the University of Technology Sydney in 2025 specialising in nonprofit marketing and ethics. Beyond ethical fundraising, Aimee is interested in a range of research questions relating to prosocial behaviour, especially interventions that aim to achieve societal benefit.
