Ahmad Beltagui

My research focuses on the intersection between design, service management and digital technologies. I teach operations management and work with the Advanced Services Group, researching and supporting businesses to innovate their processes, services and business models. I have worked on varied contexts including monetising online games services (without upsetting the user community), using digital technologies to enable Heat-as-a-Service and also understanding how 3D printing has grown into an enabler of disruptive innovation.

I have worked on projects funded by EPSRC, British Academy and European funding programmes. My work has been published in the top journals in Innovation and Operations Management. I have also contributed to media outlets including BBC World Service and Huffington Post as well as The Conversation!
