Agnit Mukhopadhyay is a space scientist with a strong background in space weather modeling, geospatial analysis, and scientific software development. He has worked at the University of Michigan, NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, MathWorks Inc., and the University of Alberta, where he contributed to the design, simulation, and analysis of scientific models and instrumentation. Dr. Mukhopadhyay specializes in handling and interpreting large-scale satellite and model datasets, developing custom visualization and analysis pipelines, and taking on projects that bridge systems engineering, geospatial intelligence, and applied research in space and Earth observation domains.
Dr. Mukhopadhyay holds a PhD in Climate and Space Sciences and Engineering, and two Masters in Space Science and Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He also holds a Bachelor of Technology in Aerospace Engineering from Punjab Engineering College, India. He has authored and co-authored several peer-reviewed publications in space weather, space plasma physics, geomagnetic field dynamics, and geospatial data analysis.
