Adrian Palmer

(he/him)

Adrian Palmer is a Physical Geography researcher working in the field of climatic and environmental change. He reconstructs past glacial activity (the last 20,000 years) using sediments and landforms with a specific focus on annually laminated sediment records to explore decadal scale changes in the advance and retreat of glaciers in the UK Europe and South America. This information is then linked to periods of abrupt climate change to understand if the drivers of glacier behaviour are linked to climate change.
