I am a physical oceanographer specializing in the study of large-scale circulation in the Antarctic Ocean, particularly its impact on sea ice and glaciers along the coastline. I earned my PhD in Oceanography from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras. Throughout my research career, I have worked with international teams to investigate the complex pathways of oceanic heat transport and their effects on the melting of ice shelves along the Antarctic coastline. My work frequently involves advanced modeling and data analysis techniques, enhancing our ability to predict and address environmental changes.
I have published in several respected scientific journals, including the Journal of Geophysical Research: Oceans and Science Advances. Additionally, I have participated in numerous multidisciplinary projects that explore various oceanographic phenomena.
