I am an Associate Professor in Genetics and Genomics with RMIT University and Cesar Australia with a research program focused on addressing pure and applied research questions relating to the ecology and evolution of native and invasive species. I use a combination of genomic technologies, controlled experiments, geospatial tools, and modelling approaches, to tackle questions relating to species demographic histories, spatial and trophic ecologies, adaptive capacities and evolutionary trajectories. My program involves partnerships with industry, government agencies, and Traditional Owners groups, with projects geared toward improving biodiversity outcomes, ecosystem function, food security and pest control in a rapidly changing world.
