I am a cognitive scientist, health policy advisor, and author focused on research translation, decision-making, and foresight. I received my PhD from the University of Queensland and have held research positions at Harvard University and the University of Sydney’s Brain and Mind Centre. Most recently, I was a Senior Advisor at The Behavioural Insights Team, Australia, where I led projects applying behavioural science to improve health policy and programs in mental health, aged care, and disability. I am a co-author of The Invention of Tomorrow (Basic Books, 2022), a general audience book on the science of human foresight.
