I'm a Professor of Statistics at Universität Innsbruck, Austria. My expertise is in statistical modelling and statistical software. I love to collaborate with practitioners and with researchers from other fields in order to gain insights from interesting data sets. In particular, I use methods for probabilistic forecasting to predict extreme weather events or the outcomes of major soccer tournaments.
