I am in the final year of my PhD, examining how fire frequency shapes the composition, structure, and function of Australia's forested ecosystems. Drawing on a prior career in wildlife conservation and freshwater management, I then completed a Masters of Ecosystem Management and Conservation before turning to research; bringing a practitioner's perspective to questions that matter for how we manage landscapes under a changing climate.
