Aaron Coy Moulton is Associate Professor of Latin American History at Stephen F. Austin State University where he teaches on Latin American history, intelligence and espionage, and video games. His award-winning research has appeared in multiple outlets such as Cold War History, The Americas, Intelligence & National Security, the Journal of Iberian and Latin American Research, the Journal of Military History, The International History Review, the Journal of Latin American Studies, Cuban Studies, Diplomatic History, and the Journal of Intelligence History.

His book, Caribbean Blood Pacts: Guatemala and the Cold War Struggle for Freedom (Cornell University Press, 2026), reveals how Caribbean Basin regimes, Guatemalan reactionaries, the United Fruit Company, and British intelligence tried sabotaging Guatemala's democratic revolution in the 1940s and 1950s, at which point the US government's infamous covert operations overthrow its government and set into motion a series of repressive regimes.
