University of Rijeka

The University of Rijeka is located in the city of Rijeka, north-western Croatia, with faculties in cities throughout the regions of Primorje, Istria and Lika. The university is comprised of 11 faculties, one art academy, two departments, university libraries and the Student Centre Rijeka.

Founded in 1973, the university has matured into a modern European university and centre of excellence whose impact extends beyond the region. With a total of 16 academic units, it is a research, science and education-oriented university that supports social and economic development in the city of Rijeka and the wider region.
